Welcome to Barcelona

We are really glad to held Sensible Days at Barcelona, Spain. We are a little crew but very enthusiastic group, and I'm sure the whole community will help us to make this weekend as wonderful as previous editions. We are working hard about this 19th edition of Sensible Days, SWOS World Cup.
The event will last from 29th of July to 1st of August, the World Champion os SWOS in PC and Amiga versions. Furthemore, a couple of small side-events and cups will also happen.

This edition will be held under special circumstances due to the COVID pandemia.

The tournaments are open to anyone, but a pre-payment is mandatory to join the event! This is done to ensure better organizing possibilities, arranging of groups, seedings, amount of equipment needed, getting the right amount of food, drinks etc.

Tournament fee

 A  Friday to Monday 
  • 8 meals from Friday dinner to Monday breakfast
  • Free soft drinks & beer (reassonable amount per player) 
  • 3 overnights (big rooms but 3-4 players per room)

 If anyone is willing to bring family the whole weekend, we might find a exclusive room for you, and their fees will be a bit cheaper, contact admins for info 

TOTAL PLACES JOINING A TOURNEY: 35 (2 PLACES LEFT RIGHT NOW)
There are several big rooms, but due to COVID restrictions and to make it more comfortable, it will be 3 or 4 maximum players per room.
Every player will need to bring their own personal towel and bedsheet, or rent them to the venue (5€ sheetbed - 2€ towel).
All meals will be cooked and prepared by the venue cookers.. Any special diet or allergic issues should be communicated to the admins in order to prevent and let the venue know this
Every player will be to present his personal EU COVID CERTIFICATE - It is mandatory to attend the event. As far as today, venue allows to get in if one test negative is made the same day of arrival, but regulations could change

All extra income will be donated to the sensiblesoccer.de community. Everyone is also welcome to donate money to ensure future editions of the World Cup.


Event Schedule

Amiga drawing on Friday, PC drawing on Saturday evening

Friday 29/7: 
Arrival day from 17h. Meets and greets. Location is open from around 17pm!

Saturday 30/7: 

Amiga tournament starts at 10:30.
Other Amiga tournament will be held sometime in the afternoon, Banana Amiga Cup, for the people who don't classify on main tourney.
Probably we play XBLA SWOS Cup too, for everyone
Swimming pool time from 16 to 19h (don't forget to play your match schedule! )

Sunday 31/7: 

PC tournament starts at 10:30.
Another PC tournament will be held sometime in the afternoon. Banana PC Cup, for the people who don't classify.
There will be Classic Sensible tourney too.
Swimming pool time from 16 to 19h (don't forget to play your match schedule! ).

Monday 1/8: Breakfast and farewells. People need to leave before 11.30.

Hi Bomb, thanks for your words.
About the question, I will ask them, but I think it is mandatory EU Certificate, it is current legal regulation in Spain, Anyway, I'm asking them about it

Great work, guys! Awesome topic. The location looks great.

@bomb & gatifun: Bear in mind, regulations can change every week/month. I guess it's impossible to foresee at this point which kind of status you need for travel (to Spain, or anywhere) by late July. One thing is clear, though: Being vaccinated is only to your benefit.

@gatifun, @playa: true, you never know what comes next... could also be possible that late july there are no regulations at all. lets see, there are still more than 6 month to go!
