Re: Favourite Amiga Highlights
By request of Playaveli, I have posted some of my best Amiga SWOS goals.
You can view them using WinUAE and SWOS 96/97. I am just getting to grips with the emulator, it is quite versatile, for saving and online play etc. I just can t make my joystick work smoothly though, it is too sensitive.
Anyway, here are the goals:

hatrick - entertaining match, good goals

I hope you enjoy watching these goals
Bad new is that my disk with THE VERY BEST GOALS ever (well 2 at least), is lost - doh! You know when you find loads of other stuff but you can t find that one thing that you remember you had. Well it s gone, but maybe one day i ll find it.
PS. These goals are all from my Amiga SWOS 96/97 saved game disks, I used crossDOS and workbench 3.0 on my Amiga 1200 to transfer the files to my PC via floppy disk.

Start SWOS,
play a friendly match until you save one highlight or score a goal,
exit match,
go to highlights and view the highlights from the match you just played.
Now you can load the saved highlights without the screen staying black after the line-ups screen.
Hopefully this works for you.

Yes, I have a solution. It crashed the first time i loaded my highlights, but here is what i did to make it work:
Start SWOS,
play a friendly match until you save one highlight or score a goal,
exit match,
go to highlights and view the highlights from the match you just played.
Now you can load the saved highlights without the screen staying black after the line-ups screen.
Hopefully this works for you.
doesn t work quite! I managed to view the highlights of a just played match. but when the highlights finish the screen goes black again! hmmm...

I just had a little practice game to try and calibrate my joystick better, and scored this cheeky headed goal from a corner (4-0) He wasn t even looking at the goal, how arrogant!

Anyway here is one I scored tonight. Its a standing header at the back post. I think it might be one of my favorite goals.
Hope you like it too
