How to change the teams that qualify to each European cup?
All the instructions below uses the options available in PC SWOS EDITOR 1.35.
These are the team numbers (check pictures attached below) that gives a team right to play in a european competition the first year in a career. These can be changed so that a country can get more or less competitors than there are available here. The team numbers can be seen under general when clicking on a team.
To change the teams that competes in one of the tournaments below, the easiest way would be to make a copy of your team file.
So following the steps below, you ll be able to make your changes:
1. Find the position of the team with the number from the list below (eg. number three from the top playes in the UEFA Cup the first year).
2. Go in to one of these and click once on a team you want to choose as competitor in one of the tournaments below.
3. Click on the icon called copy team once and use the editor to go in to the copy you ve made of the team file.
4. Here you remember what position the competitor had (eg. number three from the top). You click once on this position and then on the paste team icon, where you confirm that you want to overwrite the team. Then the new and correct team will have the correct team number to play in the competition.
5. The last thing you have to do is to make sure that the team you overwrote appears in this file again. This can be assured with the same process (since there are two that are the same because of the overwriting, you take the original one of these.

Did anybody try this?
Does this only work for the first season in career mode and in the pre-set competitions, or does it carry over to following seasons?
I mean, it d be cool to be able to edit these competitios, but only if they continue to use those league positions. For example: pick the top16 countries for the CL, then pick the remaining 26 countries for the UEFA Cup and the top6 for another UEFA Cup slot, or reserve the CWC for the weaker countries.
